How to wash a jumper in the washing machine without deformation
Jumpers are generally prone to hair loss or deformation when they are washed in the washing machine, so take care when washing them in a laundry bag and wash them in the correct way to ensure they don't get deformed. Will the jumper be deformed when washed in the washing machine? Jumpers can be washed in the washing machine, but regardless of whether they are machine washed or dehydrated, attention must be paid to the method. (1) If you want to wash your jumper in the washing machine, you must put the jumper in a laundry bag before washing it, which will prevent it from being deformed. (2) The washing product should be a special detergent for woollens, or a neutral detergent, which is available in supermarkets. If not, you can also use shampoo. Do not use soap or alkaline washing products, which will shrink the jumper. There is also a solution to prevent shrinkage of jumpers, which is also sold in supermarkets and can be added when washing. (3) Wash your jumper in the washing machine in a dedicated jumper setting, or in a gentle wash mode. (4) You can make your jumper softer by filling it with a gentle agent during the last rinse. Unless there are special circumstances, it is generally advisable to hand wash the jumper. Gently pressing the wash will cause the least damage to the jumper. In the case of expensive jumpers, such as cashmere jumpers, it is recommended to take them to a dry cleaners. How to wash a jumper without deformation 1、Hand wash The jumper should be dry cleaned for the best, if there is a hand wash mark, indicating that the jumper can be cleaned with up to 40 ℃ warm water and special detergent, the specific method is as follows. (1) Turn the inner layer of the jumper outward and soak it in warm water with fully dissolved detergent for 5 minutes. (2) Squeeze the jumper slowly until it is wet and gently press to wash away the dirt, do not rub. (3) Wash in warm water first, then cold water and rinse until clean. (4)Cover the washed jumper with a dry towel, then roll it up together and let the towel absorb the excess water from the jumper. (5) When drying, place the clothes flat in the sun until they are 80% dry, then wrap the sleeves in a net and hang them on a bamboo pole to air dry. (6) When the jumper is dry to 90%, steam ironing can be used for shaping, and then drying to full dryness can be worn or collected. 2、Machine wash After putting the jumper into a laundry bag, put it into the washing machine and wash it with a special gear or gentle wash mode. Avoid spinning your jumper in the dehydrator as much as possible and limit it to 30 seconds to 1 minute if necessary. If you only use the washing machine to spin, it is best to wrap the jumper in a cloth before putting it in the dehydrator. 3. Dry cleaning If your jumper is very valuable and the label says dry clean, take it to a dry cleaner for convenience and peace of mind.
